Terms and conditions

Credit Terms:

Net 30 Upon Credit approval.
A $50.00 fee will be assessed on all returned checks.

Service and Handling Fee:

All Fed Ex and UPS orders  will be charged a $9.50 service and handling fee plus standard ground rates.

Prepaid Shipment:

An order must be $1,400.00 net cost to qualify for prepaid freight. Any shipment that does not meet the minimum will be charged a delivery fee of $100.00 per order. Prepaid freight only applies to shipments made within our trucking area. Customers must have adequate receiving facility and material handling equipment/personnel.

Common Carrier Shipments:

Common carriers will be utilized for orders that do not fall within our service area.
All orders will be F.O.B. the shipping warehouse.

Drop Shipment Policy:

Orders must be $1,400.00 net cost per drop location to qualify. A $50.00 drop ship per location charge applies to all drop shipments. Drop Shipments requiring a lift gate vehicle will be subject to an additional $75.00 charge. All orders will be F.O.B. the shipping warehouse. If we attempt to deliver after confirmation with your customer and delivery cannot be made for any reason, we will charge  $100 re-delivery charge to make a second attempt at delivery.

Pallet Exchange Policy:

Pallet exchange is required for all palletized orders or a $8.00 per pallet charge will be assessed.

Customer Pick-Ups:

Orders must be placed at least 2 hours prior to pick up. (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Damaged Goods:

We will not accept any damaged goods for credit or exchange. For your own protection, please inspect all merchandise at time of delivery. Do not accept any damaged items.

Special Order Items:

Special order items are those which we do not normally stock. Special order items may not be canceled once our order has been placed, refused or returned after shipment has been made.

Return Goods:

Returns will not be accepted without prior written authorization from Sheppard Redistribution. Customers must provide a copy of the original invoice or the invoice number and date of purchase when requesting return authorization. Returned merchandise not the result of an error by Sheppard Redistribution will be subject to the following restrictions:

  • Returned within 15 days of invoice date - NO RESTOCKING FEE
  • Returned from 16 to 45 days of the invoice date - 15% RESTOCKING FEE
  • Sheppard Redistribution will not accept any items for return after 45 days from the invoice date.

*Any short ships must be notified within 24-48 hours.
All subject to count orders will be at the discretion of the warehouse count.
All returns are subject to inspection and must be in sellable condition.
